He said THE FUNNIEST thing!!!

So it was bedtime. Dan was getting Lauryn ready for bed and I had just put Jacob in his bed with a book and walked into the bathroom to help Spencer get out of the shower.

Me: Ok, Spencer, it's time to get out.

Spencer: Do you have "Super-Vision"?

Me: What?

S: You know, you can see through stuff like this.....(makes superhero noises and gestures with his hands and eyes, like x-ray vision)

Me: Do you mean that I could see you through the door and knew when you were getting out and I came in right at the same time? Well, yes, I guess I do! ;)

S: (he picks up the shampoo bottle and reads) like........."Use under 'adult supervision'"

Me: LOL!!!! LOL!!!! LOL!!!!! Spencer, you are so funny! Do you know what adult supervision is?

S: No......

Me: It's when an adult watches over you or babysits you.

S: Oh!

Easter

We had a great Easter! Mom made Lauryn's dress.......isn't it GORGEOUS??!!! And I made the boys' ties out of the extra fabric Mom sent to me. I thought the kids looked pretty darn cute!! Thanks, Mom!!

The Easter bunny showed up and brought the kids lots of yummy candy and a fun toy. Then we got dressed up and went hunting for Easter eggs. The kids had A LOT of fun, especially Lauryn. She was so proud of each and every egg she found. Then my favorite part was having the opportunity to watch General Conference on TV in the comfort of my own home!!!!! We got Direct TV last week and my life has definitely changed! I loved every part of GC. It was very uplifting and inspiring. It was just what I needed.

Hair.......my new hobby

I love a little girl's hair all done up cute and perfect. Now that I have a girl of my own, I'm having a lot of fun playing around with her hair everyday. It's pretty hard because her hair is so fine and she cannot sit still! I have to be really fast and use bribes, but it is SO worth it because she is SOOOO cute!!!

Some of my favorites from Christmas...

Better late than never.......

When we were in Cincinnati for Christmas, I was able to see one of my closest friends from college. She was a big part of my life and such a big example to me. She still is. Love you to death, Amy! I'm SO glad that we got to see each other again and catch up!

We are missing one kid......Spencer. He was at a sleepover at his cousin's house.

What a good lookin' family!

The cutest thing happened...

Spencer has this friend named Sophie in his class. She is very cute. She wears glasses and always has a bow in her hair that matches her adorable clothes. She is VERY bubbly and outgoing. Spencer's teacher told me a while back that Sophie is in LOOOVE with Spencer and I thought it was cute and then thought nothing else about it.

Well, on Friday when he came home from school, he asked if he could call Sophie on the phone because they have a secret they needed to discuss. Dan said that little boys and little girls DON'T have secrets between each other. We left it at that. Then on Saturday, the phone rang, Spencer picked it up, and it was Sophie. She said that she called him on accident and meant to call her other friend from class. It was a quick conversation. I thought that was strange. Do little girls call boys at this age----7?

When Spencer got home from school yesterday he said that Sophie wrote him a note. He said, "Mom, what does 'you t me' mean?" I asked him if I could see it and this is what it looked like...

As you can see, this is a picture of Sophie and Spencer :)

This is what the other side of the note looked like!
I about DIED laughing!!!!!!!!!!! I couldn't believe it! It was a LOVE NOTE!! Spencer has NO CLUE and we are going to keep it that way! Dan says we need to talk to Sophie's mother (giggling) and ask her if she knows what her daughter is doing (giggling). This just tickled me! I must have the most dashing, charming little boy in all of 1st grade! :)
